The Dallas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America Announces Leadership Board for 2014

The Dallas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), a professional public relations and communications organization in Dallas, is excited to announce its new board of directors for 2014. The ever-growing Dallas Chapter of PRSA has more than 300 members – an increase of nearly 20 percent since 2013.

Leah Ekmark Williams, APR, will serve as president, guiding more than 300 PRSA members in the Dallas chapter for this year. In this role, Ekmark Williams is responsible for the overall leadership and successful operation of the chapter. She is currently the director of account services at C. Pharr & Company.

The 2014 PRSA Dallas Board of Directors also includes:  

•    Carolyn Covey Morris – President-elect and administration chair; president and CEO, QMobius
•    Sandra Duhe, Ph.D., APR – Vice president and professional development chair; SMU associate  professor, director of public relations, and chair of the Division of Communication Studies
•    Christi Chesner – Secretary; director of account service, Lewis Public Relations
•    Jeff Smith, APR – Treasurer; manager growth market communications, Texas Instruments
•    Melissa Flynn, APR – Marketing co-chair; senior vice president and brand director, Ketchum
•    Linh Le – Marketing co-chair; public relations specialist, Haynes and Boone, LLP
•    Donna Coletti, APR – Membership co-chair; director of international communications & market   research, Texas Instruments
•    Megan Magana – Membership co-chair; brand marketing manager, Freeman
•    Amanda Lam – Partnerships/Networks chair; public relations manager, QMobius
•    Samra Jones Bufkins, APR – Ethics officer; lecturer in strategic communications for the Mayborn School of Journalism, the University of North Texas
