Our panelists include:

Randy Pruett is a vice president at Cooksey Communications and has more than 30 years of success turning visions and strategies into solutions and results for clients. Randy’s background is in philanthropy, food and beverage, retail, technology, financial services and association management with expertise in marketing communications, public relations, project management, special events, crisis support, mergers & acquisitions, sales operations, brand management and writing.

Caroline Jennings currently serves as a Director at LDWW Group, where she specializes in earned media strategy and supports PR efforts for the DFW Airport and other clients. Her background in communications includes leading external and internal communications efforts for several Fortune 500 companies and global brands, with an emphasis on the travel/hospitality industry, as well as consumer packaged goods. In her role as media specialist, she approaches earned media outreach strategically and in a solutions-oriented way, adapting her approach as necessary to drive results. Prior to joining LDWW, she received a degree in communications from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and spent four years working for Ketchum in Washington, D.C.

Kara Barry is Head of Communications at Topgolf Entertainment and leads the vision and strategy for the company’s external and internal communications and public relations activities. She is passionate about building a company’s reputation, driving engagement and connecting associates and guests to the Topgolf story. Prior to joining Topgolf, Kara was the Global Communications Director at Pizza Hut driving engagement and employer brand reputation where she led the award-winning work around Pizza Hut’s Life Unboxed employee value proposition.  She later joined Essilor of America as Senior Director of Communications where she was responsible for brand reputation and internal communications.  Prior to her time at Pizza Hut and Essilor, Kara worked at various advertising agencies supporting brands including Subway Restaurants, Kroger and Domino’s Pizza. Originally from Houston, Texas, Kara attended Texas Christian University earning a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. She later earned her MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. 

Nicole Bernard manages the Channels and Public Relations team at Texas Instruments -  which drives issues management, social media and intranet strategies for the company. Since joining TI in 2013, Nicole has also worked in corporate and employee communications supporting efforts for TI’s DLP® Products business, Sales organization and special HR projects. Prior to working at TI, she earned a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of TI, Nicole enjoys volunteering as an active member of the Junior League of Dallas and pursuing hobbies in the arts – including singing as the lead vocalist in the TI Jazz Band.

Directions: From I-75, exit Park and head east toward Park Lane Shops. From the service road, pass the Whole Foods garage and make an immediate right into the plaza, where you will see J. Crew on the corner of the street. Take a right at the stop sign and drive all the way to the end where you will hit Blackwell Street. Make a left, then immediate right into the Fiserv building parking lot and park in any visitor space. Head to the 12th floor and ring the bell for entrance.
