"Emerge, Elevate, Engage" - PRSA Dallas Pro-Am Day 2015

Calling all college students and mentors! Mark your calendars for the annual PRSA Dallas Pro-Am Day on Friday, March 27, 2015. Pro-Am Day consists of connecting students with experienced public relations professionals, from a non-profit, agency or corporate field, through a shadowing opportunity followed by a luncheon. The theme this year is “Emerge, Elevate, Engage.”

Students will be paired up with an experienced PR practitioner that morning to gain valuable public relations insight and establish fresh networking contacts in this unique mentoring opportunity. Afterwards, all participants are invited to the PRSA Dallas luncheon for more mingling and to see a fantastic panel featuring Donna Coletti, Director of International Communications at Texas Instruments; Ashley Johnson, Senior Marketing Manager at Brinker International; and Jane Koenecke, Vice President of Creative Communication & Events at Interstate Batteries.

Agenda:
9 - 11:00 a.m.: Students visit mentor's office for a shadowing experience
11 - 11:30 a.m.: Students and mentors head to luncheon (venue is currently being finalized)
11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Registration check-in for luncheon
12 - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch and panel
1:30 - 2 p.m.: Q&A with students about their shadow experience and the PR industry; mentors are invited to join in the discussion if available to do so.
