President's Message

Dear PRSA members and friends,

It's hard to believe we're already midway through summer - hope you're enjoying it!

To me, this summer signifies one important, positive change for PRSA Dallas: a new website! Thanks to the hard work of so many people, I hope you'll find the refreshed site to be more user-friendly, easier to navigate, and generally, a more polished, up-to-date storefront for our chapter. Most importantly, perhaps, is that the site is mobile friendly! For those of us who regularly register for events online or check upcoming calendar dates, the desire and ability to quickly act via our phones is a must. You should now be able to do just that with a few clicks - and if you can't, please let me know.

The next few months will be chock full of terrific programming opportunities—from the Nonprofit PR Workshop in July, to our renowned diversity and inclusion speaker Trudy Bourgeois in August, to the second annual UnSummit: PR Deconstructed event in late October.

Finally, it's call-for-entries time for the annual Pegasus Awards competition, so prep your submissions now!

Have a great month ahead.

Melissa K. Flynn, APR
