Crafting Success through Cross-Functional Collaboration with Michaels Stores

Today, more than ever, the internal boundaries between communications and marketing functions are dissolving. In an online world where news is broken and consumed outside of traditional media sources, communications professionals win when they work collaboratively with their marketing, digital and creative services colleagues to produce memorable multi-channel content. At the end of the day, no matter the medium, the message needs to be clear and consistent for best results.

Join PRSA Dallas and communications leaders from Michaels Stores on Thursday, April 18, for a lunch discussion on new and engaging methods of distributing news. Hear from Kiley Rawlins, vice president of investor relations and corporate communications, and Mallory Smith, public relations manager, on how these two departments collaborate on public relations, internal communications, influencer programs and more. They’ll share examples and best practices for finding synergies with internal departments to strengthen corporate storytelling. One example they’ll share is Michaels’ MAKE campaign and the tactics they used to ensure message consistency through every audience touchpoint, from news coverage to internal communications.

Register now for this great presentation!
