Passionate about technology, innovation, and digital marketing, John segued into business development while at TrueCar, helping launch targeted incentive marketing programs for automotive/OEMs on TrueCar's 500+ affinity partner websites. John now works at TikTok, leveraging his experience working with automotive and technology brands to create and deliver highly effective advertising campaigns built for the TikTok platform.
Soam Lall, Team Lead, Global Business Solutions, TikTok: Soam is a digital business leader with a 16+ year career that includes extensive experience and expertise spanning marketing, business development, and product. In 2020, Soam joined TikTok in Los Angeles to help scale business in key industries in North America.
Prior to TikTok, Soam joined SocialCode in 2016, serving as Senior Director, Platform Growth & Strategy with responsibility for platform partnerships across all leading social and video channels.
His further background includes years of experience in developing winning strategies to scale e-commerce, social, and mobile businesses. He previously held advisory roles for two tech startups, has contributed to product development efforts using Agile methods, and previously founded a mobile-first social discovery startup that grew to thousands of users nationwide.
