Duke Morse is a commercial, corporate, and family photographer based in Dallas, TX.

He first picked up a hand-me-down camera at the age of 13, as his mother was also very interested in photography.  Once in high school, he must have a certain number of art classes to graduate.  As he was not very good at drawing and I didn’t want to play in the mud (sculpt/pottery), the photography class was the only logical choice.  As it turns out, he developed a passion for it and was good at it. After high school, photography became his major in college at Sam Houston State University (which had the 3rd best photography school in the nation at the time).

However, at the urging of my friends and family, for fear of me becoming a “starving artist,” he was coerced into changing majors to business school.   Afterward, he spent 18 years working long hours in the restaurant industry.  Fast forward 18 years, and after some life-changing events, he decided he needed time off, time away, and he needed to find my happiness again.  His search for happiness encouraged him to pick up his camera again and share his unique world perspective. That was in 2004. Next year marks his 20th year as a full-time professional photographer.  Even though truthfully, it has been over 40 years now that he has been in a relationship with a camera.

With over 25 years of experience behind the lens traveling around the globe chasing light and adventure, Duke strives to capture the highest quality images to help his clients enhance, elevate, & strengthen their brands and preserve life's precious memories.  He is comfortable in big cities or small, US or Europe, and points in between, including where he hangs his hat in Frisco, TX. 

Whether photographing a Dallas PRSA event, advertising campaign, product or food, corporate event, business headshot, high school or college senior, or a family portrait, Duke has a unique ability to interact and capture the beauty within his subjects that transcends geographical, cultural, and language barriers.  Digital or film, location or studio, people, places, or things, every assignment is an opportunity to create something extraordinary.
